These Terms apply to the use of the Foundation’s website and its support/payment services. By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
Article 1 (Purpose)

Article 2 (Definitions)

- "User" means members and non-members who use the Service under these Terms.
- "Member" means a user who has registered and been granted an account under the Foundation’s procedures.
- "Non-member" means a user who uses the Service without an account.
- "Support" means a user’s payment of an entry fee, donation, or auction settlement for the Foundation’s activities.
Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of Terms)
The Foundation posts these Terms on the Service. The Foundation may amend these Terms within the limits of applicable law, giving notice of the effective date and reason from 7 days before the effective date (30 days before, where the change is unfavorable to users).
Article 4 (Provision and Change of the Service)
The Foundation provides content, inquiry intake, and support/payment services. It may change all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons, giving prior notice of material changes.
Article 5 (Membership Registration and Management)
Users may apply to register as a member using the form provided by the Foundation. The Foundation grants membership after reviewing the application.
- Registration is completed by providing an email address and password, and the account is available for use immediately.
- Members must keep the information they provided up to date via My Page.
- Members are responsible for managing their account and password and must not allow third parties to use them.
- Members may withdraw at any time from My Page. On withdrawal, the account information is suspended or deleted, except for information subject to a statutory retention obligation.
Article 6 (Support and Payment)
The Foundation offers the following one-off payments and does not offer recurring (automatic) billing.
- Entry fee — payment to attend the NANRO NEXT event.
- Donation — support for the Foundation’s activities such as its fellowship.
- Auction settlement — payment of an auction winning bid or a donation of any amount.
Payments are processed through a payment gateway (PG) in Korea. If you are based overseas and cannot use our PG, please reach out via Contact Us.
Users may pay without registering as a member. Registration and sign-in are required to use follow-on services such as the support history in My Page and donation-receipt requests.
At payment, users select the donor type (individual or organization) and provide the following information for the chosen type. Email address and support message are optional.
- Individual — name, date of birth, phone, email (optional), support message (optional).
- Organization — organization name, business registration number, contact person, phone, email (optional), support message (optional).
Before proceeding, users review the payment item and amount and separately agree to the collection and use of personal information and to the payment itself, then move on to the payment screen.
Article 7 (Cancellation and Refund)
Before a payment is completed, you may cancel it at any time on the payment screen. After completion, you may request a refund within 7 days of the payment date by the method below.
① How to request a refund
- Members may request by using "Request cancellation" on the corresponding payment in the support history in My Page.
- Non-members or others may request by our official email (nanro@nanrogroup.com), stating your name, phone, email address, and order number (or payment details).
② Refund processing
The Foundation reviews the reason and any tax-related matters, and upon approval a refund is made to the original payment method through the payment gateway (PG), as a rule within 7 business days of approval. Actual crediting may take additional time depending on the payment gateway, card issuer, and similar third parties.
③ Limitations on refunds
Refunds may be limited for goods or services already provided (e.g. attendance at the event, delivery of an auction-won item).
Article 8 (Donation Receipts)
The Foundation issues donation receipts in its own name as provided by law. The procedure is as follows:
- Members may submit a request per payment via "Request donation receipt" on the support history in My Page.
- Non-members or others may request by our official email, stating your name, phone, and order number (or payment details).
- After receiving a request, the Foundation confirms the information required for issuance (individual/business classification, resident registration number or business registration number, address, etc.) with the requester separately, and issues the receipt in the Foundation’s name.
- Issuance information such as resident registration numbers is not collected on the website; the Foundation receives it directly from the requester at the time of issuance, to the extent necessary.
Article 9 (User Obligations)
Users must not do any of the following when using the Service:
- Misappropriating another person’s information or entering false information.
- Infringing the intellectual-property, reputation, or other rights of the Foundation or third parties.
