Wadiz announced on July 4 that it will exclusively host the domestic debut of the first camping cookware co-developed by the global outdoor brand Helinox and the Nanro-hoe community.

The Jeollip-tu & Stove One set — jointly developed by Helinox and Nanro-hoe, the community researching the science of Korean meat-grilling — will be unveiled exclusively on Wadiz on July 8, with pre-orders accepted through July 30.

The collaboration began in late 2023 when Choi Jung-yoon, chair of Nanro-hoe, showed Helinox CEO Ra Young-hwan a genre painting by the late-Joseon artist Kim Hong-do and suggested, "Let's reinterpret this scene with a twenty-first-century sensibility." Drawing inspiration from the eighteenth-century nanro-hoe culture — gatherings, across social classes, that centered on grilling meat around a brazier — the product took roughly a year and a half of development.

Both companies' expertise ran through every stage of the project — planning, engineering, design, materials, cooking tests — with the focus firmly on more than a product launch: a modern reinterpretation of Korean food culture, and a new dining experience made portable for camping.

Making its debut on Wadiz, the Jeollip-tu is a new category of grill built around scientific design intended to bring out the best flavor in meat. Its "Oil Road" structure lets fat flow along the surface while preserving flavor, and a triple-clad metal construction — with excellent heat conduction and retention — draws out the natural taste of the ingredients.

Stove One is a dedicated stove optimized for Jeollip-tu, with a dual-burner system that lets you grill and simmer stew at once, or each on its own. It steadies the optimal grilling angle for meat, and — a first in Korea — has a built-in check valve for both safety and ease of use.

A Helinox representative said, "We are glad to be debuting a product that preserves the value of tradition while making the function stronger and the construction more robust — first through Wadiz funding. We want to hear feedback first from camping-loving supporters."

A Wadiz representative added, "Wadiz is evolving into a platform that connects new challenges from manufacturing brands to the market. Like this project — which reinterprets tradition through a contemporary sensibility — we want to expand the boundaries of the market together with brands that propose more than a new product: a new lifestyle."
